In 2002, after 27
years of wine sales and marketing, Greg Gauthier launched his own
wine label. It was a course he had charted many years before...

Late 90s
~ Greg further refined his skills under the mentoring of
accomplished winemakers Rick Sayer (Rodney Strong Vineyards),
Dan Karlsen (then at Chalone Vineyards), Ted Seghesio (Seghesio
Vineyards), Michael Terrien and Michael Richmond (then at
Acacia) and wine consultant Larry Brooks.

Greg is also Vice
President of Wine Production and Sales for Bouchaine Vineyards, the
oldest continually operating winery in Napa's Carneros region. He
works closely with Bouchaine winemaker Michael Richmond and
consultant Larry Brooks to develop a united vision for their wines.
Greg travels widely, tastes extensively and avidly collects "wine
wisdom" for Gauthier Cellars. |
